1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Folosa websites, account pages, generation workspace, payment-related account records, support tools, and downloadable asset workflows. It does not apply to third-party VTT platforms, payment processors, hosting providers, or websites that Folosa does not control.
2. Data we collect
We collect information needed to run Folosa, including account email, authentication status, user ID, registration date, credit balance, credit ledger entries, plan or tier status, support messages, and settings you choose in the product.
We may also collect technical data such as IP-derived region, browser and device details, session identifiers, referral URL, page events, generation status, error logs, and security events.
3. Generation inputs and outputs
When you use the Forge workspace, Folosa may process uploaded reference files, prompts, selected race/class/style/quality settings, target platform, task IDs, generated WebM files, PNG fallback files, thumbnails, ZIP packages, manifest/module metadata, and download history.
Private account uploads and prompts are used to provide the requested asset workflow, account history, troubleshooting, safety checks, and legal compliance. Any separate product-improvement use will be limited to aggregated or de-identified information unless we disclose otherwise.
4. Payments and billing records
Payment checkout may be provided by third-party processors. Folosa does not store full payment card numbers. We may store account-level purchase records, checkout status, credit pack, price, currency, transaction reference, tax or invoice metadata, chargeback status, and credit application results.
5. How we use data
- Provide account access, authentication, credit balances, generation, downloads, and support.
- Process uploads, prompts, render jobs, packages, and Foundry-ready exports.
- Record billing, credit consumption, failed-job reviews, refunds, and dispute history.
- Secure the service, prevent fraud or abuse, debug failures, and enforce Terms.
- Improve reliability, performance, localization, product design, and customer support.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and platform obligations.
6. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
Folosa may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to remember language, login status, account session, security state, checkout return state, UI preferences, and basic product analytics. You can control many browser storage settings through your browser, but disabling them may break login, checkout, language, or Forge functionality.
7. Sharing and processors
We share data with service providers only as needed for hosting, storage, rendering infrastructure, CDN delivery, payment processing, analytics, security, email, support, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal compliance. These providers may process data under their own terms and privacy policies where they independently provide services.
Folosa does not sell your private generation files as standalone datasets. If a future feature involves public galleries, community sharing, marketplace publication, or model-training use beyond service delivery, that feature will be disclosed separately.
8. Retention
We keep account, billing, credit ledger, support, and security records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet tax/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Generated assets and downloads may be retained for account history and re-download convenience, but storage periods may vary by plan, system capacity, and product policy.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account records, payment status, generation files, and service logs. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so you should use a strong password, protect your email account, and notify support if you believe your account has been compromised.
10. International transfers
Folosa may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, service-provider commitments, or other lawful mechanisms for cross-border processing.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or information about how personal data is used and shared. Some records cannot be deleted immediately when they are needed for security, billing, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
You may contact support for account, billing, credit ledger, download, deletion, or privacy requests. We may need to verify your account before completing a request.
12. Children
Folosa is not intended for children under 13 or for users who are not old enough to use online account and payment services in their location. Do not create an account or submit personal data if you are not permitted to use the service.
13. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Folosa changes. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. For privacy questions, account requests, or billing-data questions, contact Folosa support through the support channel shown in the product.
