Folosa Terms of Service.

These terms govern Folosa accounts, Engine Credits, AI-assisted VTT asset generation, generated outputs, and Foundry-ready package delivery.

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Service overview

Folosa provides tools for creating tabletop-ready visual assets, including transparent WebM tokens, PNG fallback images, previews, metadata, and Foundry-ready ZIP packages. The service may include upload, prompt, rendering, packaging, download, account, billing, and support features.

Folosa is an independent product. Foundry-ready or Roll20-friendly delivery describes file format compatibility and workflow support only; it is not an official marketplace listing, endorsement, or affiliation.

2. Accounts and security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You should use a valid email address, protect your password, and notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Folosa may require email verification, payment verification, abuse checks, or other account controls before credits, downloads, or generation features are available.

3. Engine Credits and pricing

Engine Credits are a limited digital usage unit for Folosa rendering and export workflows. They are not cash, stored value, a bank balance, or a general-purpose payment instrument. Credit packs are applied to the account that completes checkout.

The Pricing page is the product source for current credit packs, generation costs, output targets, queue features, and any free-credit offer. New verified accounts may receive 160 free credits where that offer is displayed in the product.

4. Credit consumption and failed jobs

Current output costs are: Standard VTT 80 CRD per token, HD Pro 200 CRD per token, and 4K Master 280 CRD per token, unless the Pricing page shows an updated rule. Credits are intended to be deducted only after a successful generation or export event.

If a task fails because of a verified Folosa system error, Folosa will attempt to return the affected credits where technically possible. Credits may not be returned for user-side issues such as unsupported uploads, policy violations, abandoned sessions, incorrect prompts, local download problems, or third-party platform limitations.

5. User content and permissions

You must have the rights needed to upload, describe, process, generate, download, and use any reference art, prompt, character concept, trade dress, logo, or other material you provide. You remain responsible for your inputs and for how you use outputs.

Buying credits or receiving an output from Folosa does not give you ownership of third-party IP, trademarks, copyrighted characters, publisher material, celebrity likenesses, or protected artwork that you did not already have permission to use.

You grant Folosa the limited permission needed to host, process, transform, render, package, transmit, and display your inputs and outputs for providing the requested service, maintaining account history, troubleshooting, safety, and legal compliance.

6. Generated outputs and commercial use

Subject to these terms, your selected plan, and your ownership or permissions in the source material, you may use completed Folosa outputs for personal tabletop play, campaign preparation, and permitted commercial asset workflows.

Commercial use depends on your plan and on the rights you hold in the prompt, uploaded material, and source references. Folosa does not clear third-party rights for you and does not guarantee that an output is free of third-party claims.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use Folosa to create, upload, request, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, privacy-invasive, sexually exploitative, hateful, harassing, malicious, deceptive, or intended to impersonate others without permission. You may not attempt to bypass account limits, billing controls, security systems, rate limits, or content safeguards.

Folosa may refuse, remove, throttle, suspend, or terminate access when we believe use of the service creates legal, security, payment, platform, or abuse risk.

8. Payments, refunds, and chargebacks

Payments may be processed by third-party checkout providers. Prices, taxes, currency conversion, payment authorization, and receipt timing may depend on those providers and your payment method.

Unless required by law or stated in a separate refund policy, used credits and completed digital generation services are not refundable. If you believe a charge or credit ledger entry is incorrect, contact support before filing a chargeback so the account ledger can be reviewed.

9. Delivery, downloads, and platform import

Completed files may include transparent WebM, PNG fallback, ZIP package, manifest/module metadata, thumbnails, README, license notes, and import guidance. You are responsible for testing files in your own VTT world or platform before live use.

Third-party platforms may change file-size limits, module behavior, codecs, browser support, import rules, or marketplace policies. Folosa is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or import behavior outside Folosa systems.

10. Availability and changes

Folosa may update, pause, replace, or discontinue features, plans, prices, output targets, queue behavior, models, storage rules, or download retention periods. We try to keep account-critical workflows clear, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Changes to these terms are effective when posted, unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of Folosa after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Folosa is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. Generated outputs may be imperfect, may require review, and may not fit every tabletop, publishing, accessibility, or platform requirement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Folosa will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages, or for third-party claims arising from your inputs, outputs, publication, downloads, or use of external platforms.

12. Contact and support

For billing, credit ledger, generation failure, download, account, or rights questions, contact Folosa support through the support channel shown in the product. Include your account email, task ID, transaction reference, and a clear description so we can review the issue.
