Foundry VTT workflow

Foundry VTT Animated Tokens

Foundry sessions benefit from animated tokens that are compact, transparent, and easy to organize. Folosa currently focuses on WebM token files, PNG fallbacks, sample module ZIP structure, thumbnails, LICENSE.md, NOTICE.md, and practical import notes.

Why WebM matters for VTT tokens

WebM is practical for browser-based tabletops because it balances animation quality with file size. A good Foundry token has a stable transparent background, readable character silhouette, and a loop that does not distract from gameplay.

Folosa packages describe Foundry-oriented exports: module.json, a D&D 5E Actor compendium pack, assets/tokens WebM files, PNG fallbacks, thumbnails, import notes, LICENSE.md, NOTICE.md, and metadata. Use only the export formats shown in Pricing and your account. Direct cloud modules, marketplace programs, and Bridge API access are separate product programs.

Best use cases

Boss monsters with idle combat motion; NPC token libraries; player character portraits with transparent motion; encounter packs for fantasy, horror, and sci-fi sessions. Downloaded packs are organized as Foundry modules with token assets and a D&D 5E Actor compendium, not only loose WebM files.
