Foundry VTT import guide
How to Import Transparent WebM Tokens into Foundry VTT
Folosa packages are built so a game master can generate a transparent animated token, download the ZIP, and place the Foundry-ready module folder into a Foundry data directory without manually converting video formats.
1. Download the ZIP
Each completed generation includes WebM exports plus a Foundry module folder named for the task. The folder contains module.json, token assets, thumbnails, a sample Actor compendium, a Journal import guide, and a short README.
2. Place the module folder
Copy the folosa-token-pack folder into your Foundry user data modules directory, restart Foundry if needed, then enable it in the world module list.
3. Assign the token art
Open an actor token configuration, select the transparent WebM from the module assets path, and use the included thumbnail as a quick visual reference.
Foundry-ready output details
Folosa does not only export a loose video file. The ZIP also includes a Foundry-oriented module folder with module.json, assets/tokens WebM files, thumbnails, a sample Actor compendium, a Journal import guide, and an assets manifest so the package can be organized like a real tabletop asset delivery.
For live play, use 512p or 1080p WebM when browser performance and bandwidth matter. Keep 4K and ProRes Alpha files for editing, trailers, publishing, or archival workflows rather than everyday scene loading.
